Why Lambton exists
Britain has a succession problem.
Every year, thousands of founders reach retirement with no one to pass the business to. Children have chosen other lives. The managers who could run it seldom have the capital to buy it.
These are profitable, established companies that deserve to outlive the person who built them. Too many are broken up or sold badly. Others are quietly wound down.
Lambton exists to be the other outcome: permanent ownership, with the name kept over the door and the work carried on.
Approach
How a sale works
01
A straight conversation
You talk directly with the people who would own your business, in confidence and with no obligation on either side.
02
A fair, structured deal
We put an offer in plain English — what we would pay, how, and when — and you take your time with it.
03
A handover that protects your people
The handover is shaped around your staff and your customers, and you step back at a pace you set.
